New Delhi:

The much awaited teaser of Pathan was released on Shah Rukh Khan’s birthday and is trending big time on social media. There are no miracles there. The film boasts of an excellent star cast including SRK, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. However, SRK and Deepika’s scenes together in the teaser overshadowed everything else (well, almost). Happy fans shared Tweets dedicated to all the players (more on that later). Pathan marks SRK and Deepika Padukone’s fourth project together. Deepika Padukone made her Bollywood debut opposite Shah Rukh Khan in the 2007 film Om Shanti Om and then they got together Happy new year and Chennai Express – all three movies did well at the box office.

Another fan sent a photo collage from Om Shanti Om, Happy New Year and Pathan and wrote: “Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone. 15 years. And nothing has changed.”

It’s good to call it Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone’s thank you tweet.

“Deepika Padukone and Shah Rukh Khan. The superstars. The chemistry. The magic,” read one tweet.

Nostalgia alert! One fan said: “Anyone feeling old watching Deepika Padukone and Shah Rukh Khan together.”

“The king and queen are doing it,” wrote one fan.

Our very thoughts.

Apart from Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone, Pathan also stars John Abraham. Directed by Siddharth Anand and produced by Yash Raj Films, the film will release in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu on January 25, 2023.
