The future of dairy farming will take center stage as dairy experts gather in Brazil and Argentina November 27-December 4.

Global Dairy Farmers, an international network of leading dairy farmers and industry partners, will host its first South American Dairy Congress from November 27-December 4 in Brazil and Argentina, with members and invited experts from more than 10 countries. Around 50 world-leading dairy experts have registered to participate in the symposium to share their insights, knowledge and experiences on dairy husbandry and its wider implications for animal welfare, performance and profitability. “Knowledge sharing among dairy professionals is important to stay on top of developments in agriculture’s most dynamic environment impacting the dairy industry,” says Ad van Velde, president of the GDF. “We are bringing together leading dairy experts to speed up and streamline this process, to discuss these issues and to network and share information on this topic.”

The theme of the symposium is “Your Future Dairy Strategy” The event has been months in the making and will serve as a stepping stone for future congresses that GDF is organizing around the world.
