Jessica Simpson responded to fans’ concerns after the singer shared a Pottery Barn video that went viral last week.
On Sunday, Simpson took to her Instagram account to address her haters, revealing that she has been sober for the past five years.
“As I’ve learned to avoid destructive noise… people’s comments and judgments can be very hurtful,” he wrote next to him in his music studio, singing. “The most important thing I’ve learned through the past 5yrs without alcohol being a flight attendant, is that I CAN and WILL BE CONTROLLED.”
He went on to say, “I feel compassion and hate for the mentality that some people can just talk too much on social media or in the news. We all have our days when we want to be, look, do, and feel better. . No one is alone with that feeling I assure you.”

Last week, Simpson teamed up with Pottery Barn for the latest commercial in which she is seen posing Birdie’s daughter room.
Although her talk show had people praising her child’s bedroom and interior design skills, some fans were worried about the singer’s well-being.
A rep for Simpson did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.

However, some users came to Simpson’s defense.
“It’s unfortunate that all these comments are about her appearance. It’s nobody’s business. I wish people would be kind,” the user wrote.
Back in March, the “With You” singer opened up about her journey to sobriety.
“When I stopped drinking, it was because I had stopped hearing the voice that I really trusted, and I was lost without him,” Simpson told Entrepreneur at the time.
