Being raised alongside Yeezy isn’t easy, according to Kim Kardashian.
The reality TV icon cried while talking about the struggles of raising four children with ex-husband Kanye West on Monday’s episode of the “Angie Martinez IRL” podcast.
“Parenting is hard,” admitted Kardashian, 42, who shares North, 9, Saint, 7, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 3, with West, 45.
“It’s f-king hard,” he added.
The Skims founder explained that he makes a concerted effort to protect his children from their father’s conflicts, including the rapper’s anti-Semitic attacks this year.
“I had the best dad, and I had the best memories and a great experience and that’s all I want for my kids as long as they can have that,” Kardashian, who was very close to her late father, Robert Kardashian, explained.
“That’s what I would want from them,” Kim continued. “If they don’t know what is being said or what is happening in the world, why should I bring that power to them? This is a burden for adults—something they are not ready to deal with. ”
The “Kardashians” star said she will be “prepared” when her children ask questions about their father’s wrongdoings. Meanwhile, Kim’s kids won’t hear a bad word said about West — at least not from him.
“One day my kids will thank me for staying here and not cursing their dad when I can,” she told host Angie Martinez. “It’s all crazy s–t. They will thank me and I will personally answer whatever they want to know. It’s not my place to jump in anymore.”
However, Kim confessed that keeping quiet about the issues of making West’s head has become more and more difficult.
“I really protected him and I still love him in the eyes of my children and my children. In my house, my children do not know what happens outside… I am holding on by a thread,” he admitted.
“I know that I am very close to what does not happen. While it is happening, I will defend myself to the ends of the earth whenever I can.”
Kim filed for divorce in February 2021 after seven years of marriage.
After several months of failed public attempts by West to win back his ex-wife, a judge declared the fashion designer and “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” alum legal in March 2022.
They finalized their divorce on November 29. Now they have the right to be protected with “equal access” to their four children, according to court documents obtained by Page Six, with West paying Kardashian $200,000 a month in child support.
According to TMZ, matriarchs have children 80 percent of the time — as West admitted in September.
A week before they settled the case, West was accused of showing pornography — and explicit pictures of Kim — to former employees who spoke to Rolling Stone about it.
West had previously opened up about his “addiction”, saying it had “destroyed” his family.
“Hollywood is a giant brothel. Porn destroyed my family. I deal with an addiction to Instagram that promotes it,” she wrote in a since-deleted Instagram post in September. “We will not allow it to happen in Northy and Chicago.”
