MSI Launches First Gaming Headset, With Clear Voice Capture Using ENC

MSI has unveiled its first gaming headset that features an environmental noise cancellation (ENC) algorithm. The new Immerse GH40 ENC is built with the same “gamer first” DNA that made previous MSI headsets so popular. The ENC feature helps capture the gamer’s voice clearly and distinctly, regardless of the conditions.

The Immerse GH40 ENC has a deep 7.1 surround sound experience and 40mm neodymium drivers to provide sound to support it. The headset has a foldable design that is lightweight and durable.

The headset captures omnidirectional that combines with the power of the embedded ENC chip to process sounds from all around. In addition, the indirect microphone focuses on the user’s voice, isolating speech while eliminating unwanted ambient noise. This feature keeps the player’s voice clear and crisp in any working environment.

The high-quality neodymium 40mm drivers ensure that the clear sound signals in the game are reproduced with rich treble and bass for complete immersion. The GH40 ENC enhances precise and accurate spatial awareness in any direction and brings a “live” sound experience to music and movies outside of sports by enabling 7.1 surround sound.

The lightweight and foldable headset weighs 268g and is easy to carry. Hard metal construction around soft padding makes for a comfortable fit. The proper strength of the earphones’ yoke relieves pressure from the head and ears, making it perfect for extended hours of play.

The GH40 ENC offers real-time control with an in-line controller that can adjust volume, play/pause music, mute the microphone or access Nahimic’s powerful surround sound. The world-renowned audio software enhances the gaming experience with its 3D Sound technology.

Price and Availability: The MSI GH40 ENC gaming headset is available now and costs $59.99 / £36.78 / €42.46.
