Welcome to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, MODOK The Mental Organism Designed Only to Kill – or MODOK – enters the MCU in. Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, starting Phase 5 with a large-scale adventure into the Subatomic Quantum Realm. Size-shrinking superheroes Ant-Man (Paul Rudd) and Wasp (Evangeline Lilly) will not face MODOK until Marvel Studios’. Quantumania hits theaters on February 17, but a new product from Funko shows MODOK as he appears Ant-Man threequel. The Quantumania The line of Funko Pop figures also has a full body look one killing machine: the time lord Kang the Conqueror (Jonathan Majors).

Quantumania “it will be more extreme than normal Ant-Man the movie will exist,” former Marvel Studios chief visual artist Anthony Francisco, who created the MCU MODOK, previously said. Looper. “It was fun because one of my favorite players that I used to draw when I was little, fighting with him. [the] Incredible Hulk. That’s what I always drew… They knew I would do justice [way the character was presented in the] comic book. [Producer] Kevin Feige really liked the take I had on him, and I can’t wait to show it. “
In the comics, MODOK was AIM agent and technician George Tarleton, who was transformed into a living computer formerly known as MODOC (Mental Organism Designed Only for Computing) by Advanced Idea Mechanics scientists. From his rotating Doomsday Chair, the giant-headed genius was challenged by Captain America, Iron Man, Hulk, and the Avengers, who foiled MODOK’s attempt to regain control of the world.
He sometimes teamed up with other super villains – including the Commander, Doctor Doom, and the Mad Thinker – as part of the big-brained bad guy super-group known as the Intelligence.
While the recognition of life-action MODOK in Quantumania is being kept under wraps, old rumors say that the face beneath the gold-plated mask is a familiar sight for fans of Ant-Man franchise.
